Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement made between you (the passenger/customer) and Udaipur Cabs (operated by Shubh Yatra Cabs), concerning your access to and use of our taxi booking services.

1. Booking and Fares

• The estimated fare provided at the time of booking is calculated based on standard GPS kilometers. If the actual distance traveled exceeds the package limit, extra kilometers will be charged at the standard per km rate for the respective vehicle category (e.g., Sedan, SUV, Tempo Traveller).
• For round-trips, a minimum billing of 250 KM to 300 KM per day is applicable (depending on the specific route and vehicle).
• Night charges (Driver Allowance) typically apply between 10:00 PM and 6:00 AM, unless explicitly stated as inclusive in a flat-rate one-way drop package.
• Toll taxes, state entry taxes, and parking fees are generally extra and to be paid by the customer as per actual receipts, unless you have booked an "All-Inclusive" package.

2. Vehicle Availability and Upgrades

We commit to providing the vehicle category you selected (e.g., Sedan, SUV). However, specific car models (e.g., requesting only a Dzire or only an Etios) are subject to availability. In case of unexpected mechanical issues, Udaipur Cabs reserves the right to upgrade your vehicle to a higher category (e.g., from Sedan to SUV) at no additional cost to ensure your journey is not delayed.

3. Passenger Conduct and Responsibilities

• Luggage: Passengers are responsible for their own luggage and belongings. Udaipur Cabs and its drivers will not be held liable for any loss, damage, or theft of personal items left in the vehicle.
• Prohibited Items: Carrying illegal substances, explosives, highly flammable materials, or weapons in the cab is strictly prohibited. The driver retains the right to refuse service and immediately terminate the trip if such items are found.
• Cleanliness: Passengers are requested to maintain the cleanliness of the vehicle. Smoking, consumption of alcohol, and eating messy foods inside the cab are not allowed. A cleaning fee may be applied if the interior is significantly soiled or damaged by the passenger.

4. Delays and Unforeseen Circumstances

Udaipur Cabs takes punctuality very seriously and strives to arrive on time. However, we shall not be held responsible for delays caused by factors beyond our reasonable control. This includes, but is not limited to, heavy traffic congestion, severe weather conditions, road closures, political rallies, or vehicle breakdowns. In the event of a breakdown, we will make our best effort to arrange a replacement vehicle as quickly as possible.

5. Right to Refuse Service

Our drivers reserve the right to refuse service or terminate a ride if a passenger is heavily intoxicated, abusive, violent, or behaves in a manner that threatens the safety of the driver or the vehicle.

6. Jurisdiction

Any disputes arising out of these Terms and Conditions or the provision of services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Ahmedabad (Gujarat) or Udaipur (Rajasthan).
